Hersheypark Project 2012 Update #31 (7-23-11)

The triple-digit temperatures sure didn’t put a damper on construction this week. Also some good news, the park is going to be holding a public announcement of the ride in Comet Hollow at 12:12pm on August 2nd. Expect Keystone Thrills to be on the scene covering the breaking news.

More rebar and  forms are now showing up next to  the dam.

I can’t imagine how hot it must’ve been down there yesterday.

What was once scattered is now starting to take shape.

Next up for concrete.

The other side is starting to look bare.

How in the world did that water get there?

I guess that’s one way to keep cool.

That pit looks deep.

They’re starting to dig holes on the other side.

All in a row.

All in a row as well.

I spy another one about to be built.

Well that’s it for this update.

Be sure to vote at attraction2012.info to submit your guess on what this ride is going to be. You may win. 🙂

  2. Can we get a map showing where current footers are laid versus the layout image floating around on the internet? Possible overlay?
