Today’s update comes from Kyle from the Project 2012 Facebook group and Walt from All-American Thrills. Today was a big day at the construction site, so let’s see what’s going on.
Skyrush is starting to dominate the skyline on both sides of the park.
It still has some growing to do.
The mechanical building has recieved it’s roof.
Under the tent, some serious stonework has been going on along the creek wall.
Another station wall has gone up. There are now almost four walls up.
But here is the star of the show for today.
More supports have arrived. These look to be for the far turnaround.
They are all small pieces.
No need for Clifford to help out with these. The smaller crane can move them.
Er… I mean forklift.
All of these are turn pieces.
They seem to be unloading them to take the flatbed back over to the airfield.
This looks to be temporary to support the lift pieces before they are connected to the main lift support.
Looks like they are ready to lift it into place.

Now on to Walt’s photos, which were taken a little later on in the day.
It’s in! One section down, several more to go!
Over at the airfield, the catwalks are being assembled.

Another lift hill section was moved over to the construction site and it may go into place tomorrow. If not, then we might see the addition of some new supports. Either way, some good progress could be made over the next couple of days with the weather being rain-less into next week. I will be back next week to do some more updates! Thanks again to Kyle and Walt for today’s updates!
