Hersheypark Park and Skyrush Construction Update #94 (3-2 and 3-3-12)

…And we’re back. This update will cover Friday and Saturday and also cover the prepwork to get ready for this season around the park!

Got the offseason blues? Don’t worry! Less than one month to go until hersheypark opens for the 2012 season!

More track has been added to the reduction brake for Skyrush.

Looper is looking bright today!

Three footers down, one final set to go!

Not much new over here for now.

Wait, what that under Comet’s opening for the path?

I see concrete and rebar. I wonder what it could be for?

Only two and a half months until we go down this hill on Intamin’s most unique coaster trains.

Still don’t know what this is.

Not much happening at the station…

Other than the brickwork being mostly up outside the restrooms.

Coal Cracker getting some offseason work done to it.

Good to see the Trailblazer trains again.

One more month…

Can’t wait to ride them again.

5 more weeks. It will be here before you know it! 🙂

Well, since next week is Spring Break for me, I am going to be taking a week off from Skyrush updates, but this doesn’t mean that I won’t post anything new though. I have a collection of old photos, findings, and other random things that are pretty interesting and plan on posting!
